"Gradie Stone Live!"
Recorded in one evening at PCCC theatre in Paterson, NJ.
I had such a great time recording my last CD, "After All These Years", that I was really eager to do a follow up not too long after its release. Well, you know how life can sometimes throw you some curves, the timing just wasn't right. Not too long age, I had the opportunity to record live, so I grabbed the ball and ran with it. The musicians who were on this date are great friends and we've been working together in clubs, doing festivals and concerts for quite some time but I was planning on adding some new tunes for this particular live endeavor so the guys and I rehearsed a few times. After all was said and done my producer, record label and I agreed that we had some really good music and the time was right to start this new project. As it turned out, we really didn't get enough material from the concert so I thought why not do a a few more songs with just voice and piano or guitar? So we did. We were lucky enough to record these additional tracks at Richie Cecere's supper club in Montclair, NJ.--Gradie
